Week 2's weigh in went well - down 4.2 lbs. Amazing how working the plan and tracking food to stay in points range works.
A bit of sarcasm there.
This weekend is the 4th annual Twin Cities SL Jam down in Eagan. The first two years I helped with coordination, and backed away from the project after the second jam due to all of the drama. It's amazing how entitled and bullying people can be. I stopped at the 3rd jam back in 2018 on the Friday evening to say hi who I wanted to. (I had an out of town wedding Saturday to Sunday). Anyway, I went last night after work and it was so great to (again) see the people I wanted to. And the cliques and drama-causers? Not there. How much more refreshing a jam can be when you're not depended on and you can truly enjoy yourself and not feel like you're in high school again. I got multiple comments about "how good you look". And was extremely surprised - because I'm definitely bigger (and obviously older) compared to the last time I saw everyone. Was it because I went into this with a lot more confidence and that made me "look" better? I don't understand it.
Anyway, my mindset is great right now. I hope it stays that way. I'm being much more mindful about what I'm eating and I'm tracking everything. The WW app is so much easier to use than before too.
Recipe of the week: Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Crack Chicken (I made this a few months ago and froze the leftovers - I got it out of the freezer this week and have been finishing it. Just as good as when I first made it.)
